100quidSomeone needs a hundred. Someone has it.

How 100quid works

Most things that change a week, a month or a job cost about a hundred quid. A bike to get to work. A tent for the festival job. The exam fee. The tools for the first paid gig.

If you need it

Tell your story. Your real name, a few honest paragraphs, photos or a short video of you and the thing. Say what it costs and what changes when you have it. A person at 100quid reads it — usually the same day — and puts it live. You get a private link to add updates and photos later.

If you have it

Read the stories. Give a fiver or the whole hundred to the one that gets you. Leave a message if you like; the asker sees every gift and every message. When the thing is bought, they post an update — that is the whole point.

Money, honestly

Right now a gift is a pledge: it is recorded, the asker sees it, and nothing is charged. Payments open soon, through a licensed payment provider, and you will be e-mailed when your pledge can be completed. 100quid never holds your money and nobody will ever ask you to pay another way.

What we check

Who people are, that the story is theirs, that the photos are theirs. We do not check whether someone "deserves" it — you decide that when you give.
